Urban Myth Films (UMF) produces television dramas and films for the international market. In January 2013, Urban Myth was set up by International Emmy award-winning producers Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy and BAFTA award-winning writer Howard Overman. Urban Myth boasts an impressive track record, clocking up hundreds of hours of on-screen drama and productions.
Site Details:
- Locations: Studio and storage space rental at Cartref and Gwaith
- Site Services: Our FM team provides regular onsite support including maintenance and repairs on electric and heating systems, gardening, cleaning as well as any ad hoc requests to ensure a well-functioning studio.
- Site Services: We supply labour and machinery to support Urban Myth with the deconstruction, transportation and storage of set equipment. This has reduced the logistical burden for Urban Myth and provided them with an efficient and value for solution for set striking.
- Site Services: We have provided a tailored waste collection programme to Urban Myth since 2018, allowing them to focus on filming production whilst leaving the waste to us.
- Hire Products: Urban Myth has rented a mixture of hire equipment including handling, access equipment, and industrial props (cars, shipping containers, trailers, lorries). The equipment and prop hire has provided Urban Myth with the machinery to construct large-scale sets and enabled authentic productions.
Site Features:
- Urban Myth has utilised the majority of services that Studio Arth offers, ranging from renting our studio space to last-minute logistical support to haul props to difficult locations and everything else in between. The result of our services has allowed Urban Myth to create high-end TV production for the previous 4 years.
All That Ltd
All That Ltd hired Studio Arth's site services function for post-productions set deconstruction, recycling and site clean-up following the end of filming for Brave New World Series 1.The Client
All That Ltd is part of Universal Content Productions (UCP). UCP was founded in 2008 as a television production company operating within the Universal Studio Group division of NBCUniversal.

- Site Services: Studio Arth provided All That Ltd with post-production recycling services. Following the end of filming for Brave New World Series 1, Studio Arth Site Services recycled various materials including wood, glass, plastic, and metal from the set to ensure All That Ltd complied with ALBERT guidelines for sustainable TV production.
Site Features:
- We provided an international customer with a streamlined operation for post-production set deconstruction, recycling, and site clean-up. Our team were able to process over 60 tonnes of waste; segregating various materials on-site to then deliver it directly to its end destination. We also brought the majority of materials (wood, glass, plastic and metal) back to our facility to process and recycle. In providing this service, Studio Arth enabled All That Ltd to recycle their set waste in line with ALBERT guidelines.
Playground Entertainment
Playground hired Studio Arth's services for a short term basis to support with green screen setup and set striking.The Client
Playground is a New York and London-based television, film and theatre production company that was founded in 2012 by Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony award-winning producer Colin Callender. It is committed to producing smart, entertaining drama for the screen and the stage and screen bringing together the finest UK and UK talent from the worlds of theatre, film and television.

- Site Services: Set striking to return the space to its original condition for the owner.
- Hire Products: Telehandling machinery hire to allow Playground to construct a large-scale green screen.
Site Features:
- We implemented set strike services for Playground at the end of filming. Studio Arth provided a streamlined and quality service to help deconstruct and remove the waste from the filming set whilst returning the space to its original condition for the site owner. Our services ensured a stress-free end to filming, knowing that the site clean-up was taken care of responsibly.
